Sorry no photos yet...Shadow Lounge featuring Wale--Before This Memorial Day Weekend 2009 gig I had never known of this fabulous band--I did recognise several of the songs they played!  Incredible performance and great to work with.  Can't wait to see this band again.  Special Thanks to "D" Shadow Lounge's Sound Board Operator His mix was studio sharp and made my night MUCH less stressful.

Same weekend that Sunday Tortured Soul's performance moved the crowd like I haven't seen a band work it in nearly 20 years.  Thanks to Jason Pascuzzi I had heard their most recent CD and knew ahead of time we were in for a one of a kind performance.  Little did I know that one of the most entertaining parts of the show was watching one of the best Mix Engineers I've ever seen work his Magic.

If you want to see a mix engineer who really is worth his pay Hiroyuki Sanada is the guy to see.

Firehouse Lounge's parking area transformed:
Thanks to Lou from S. Sides Z-lounge for M.C. services and setting up on of the "coolest" gigs of 2009's winter!

For the love of it 4

Thank Murdzak for a real rave party in downtown Pittsburgh!  This is the second room!  Small system for this party included 2 yorkville single sw 808 subs, a pair of old rebuilt Peavey boxes hot- rodded w/heavy duty JBL and Eminence components.  Single Behringer  EP 2500 amp drove the subs on channel 1 and the tops on channel 2.  Monitor was an Eon 1500 over a sub driven by an RMX-850 (small amp, real powerful!). Worked out MUCH better than expected.  Blew the Vicks out of one dude's rave mask!  Below is Curtis spinnin' his wax.

Check it out! Bob T. & Kid Capri at
Privilege!!!

WAMO nite at Privilege - Kid Capri played a superstar set and made it look easy!  Wow, does he like it loud.  Gear at this gig: main PA Grund audio GT3600 subs 1 per side driven by QSC Powerlight 4.0  Grund audio GT  1 per side driven by Behringer EP 2500.  Main PA handled the high levels with ease.  Monitor was provided by the house and consisted of 1 Yamaha SP 115 driven by a PLX 3604.  Note to other sound guys,  Mr. Capri likes his monitor LOUD, this rig worked, but occassionally through the night the horn in the monitor switched off (thanks to the Yamaha protection circuit there was no damage to the diaphragm).  If possible Mr. Capri should be provided with a monitor with a 2" horn.

Here is a look at a slammin' Irish Center gig!  (RAVE TILL DAWN!!!) Thanks, Rose & Phil!!!  At this gig we used approx. 12,000 watts of amp power (10,000 for the main pa, 2,000 for the dj monitor).  We used 3 Peavey HDH semi manifold subs per side--these subs are loaded with 2 1000 watt EV drivers.  For tops 3 JBL SR4732A per side.  this system was biamped using QSC Powerlight 4.0 and Behringer EP-2500 power amps.  Processing was all Behringer (Ultradrive and 31 band stereo eq).
The DJ monitor system was 2 JBL loaded EV 15" bass cube self built subs w/self built JBL 15" with Selenium 1" wedges.  EV dx34 processor on monitors, stereo bi amped w/pair of Behringer EP-2500 amps.  Most of the gear in this rig was over 10 years old (sans Behringer amps and processors).  Even w/the age and years of use it still managed to rattle the big "IRISH CENTER" sign on the outside of the concrete block building.

Thanks to Jerry O'Neill for renting us the Peavey and JBL mains.  Too many of our regular boxes were in monthly or bi weekly rentals to pull off this gig w/them.  Jerry came through w/some of the best rental boxes in the business.
